14 Year Anniversary Trip!!

This anniversary was very special for us. The main reason is because we are at the place we wanted to be for so long, serving where the need is great in another country!! We went to a little town called Boquete, Panama. A brother from our hall wanted to give us an anniversary gift and made arrangements for us to stay at a brothers house there in Boquete for a couple days. It was more than we expected. The brother we stayed with, his name is Brother Bernard. His family is originally from Jamaica. He is a single brother but you can't imagine how hospitable he is! Every morning he would make us this special breakfast, with yogurt, fresh fruit, and of course fresh Panamanian coffee and at dinner time it was a very special dinner. He loves cooking, he told us, but we didn't expect that much of a treat. Our brothers everywhere you go are truly amazing!!
This is the brothers house we stayed in Boquete.

Little note he left us in the morning with instructions of what was for breakfast that morning!

Fruit and yogurt breakfast he would prepare for us every morning! Yummy!!

and this, this is the view!! The beauty of Jehovah's creation!!

This was our favorite place. Great coffee and amazing views!

This is the congregation in Boquete. It's amazing the variety of brothers from different countries who have come to serve here. The brother that is conducting the watchtower is from England. Him and his whole family moved here to serve, 10 years ago! Excellent brothers and his family and kids are very spiritually oriented. All pioneers!! Another sister from the hall, her husband is from Italy, her daughter was born and raised in Italy. They are now serving as pioneers in this hall also. Very loving congregation!!

It's truly a very beautiful place here in Boquete.

Circuit Overseer Visit

Circuit Overseer and his wife with Justin and me

Saturday at hospitality at a single brother from the ruta home

Very busy week we had with the C.O. Their names are Habacuc and Mirna Martinez. Very loving and zealous brothers. Did service with them all week, morning and afternoon. Really really enjoyed his talks. Gave us alot to think on what we are doing and what we should be doing. On Sunday he showed the congregation an amazing video, that I'm sure some of you have seen, but for those of you who have not seen it, all I can say is, TAKE TISSUES!!!! It is so so encouraging and makes us realize how much more we can do for Jehovah!
Long day out in service with the C.O. and his wife

Service this week was so good with the C.O.! We talked to so many people and started several studies at the door. Last week was definitely Justin's turn for return visits. I found 4 guys out in service that are so hungry for the truth and want us to come back next week to continue studying with them. Justin found two more he studied at the door with in Sabana Grande!! This is when you realize how organize you have to be to be able to take care of all of them all. A true blessing from Jehovah to have that problem. :)
This is how good service is here and how receptive people are. One lady that Justin had talked to her door to door, we went to do the return visit and she was waiting for us, she had her Bible ready and the magazine Justin had left her all underlined!!! and told us,"these are all the questions I want you to answer for me please". Then another day a lady in service told us, "I want to study with you guys and I want you to teach me how I can talk to my husband and have him study with us also!!!" and one more lady, she is a little bit older, we ran into her as we were going to the hall for service in the morning, she said, "when are you guys going to visit me??" I thought maybe I talked to her in service, but we haven't, then she tells me, "There that's where I live the house with the black gate, when are you coming to talk to me??" So we made arrangements to visit her also.
It's been truly a blessing that Jehovah has allowed us to come here to serve him! Words cannot describe how happy we are when we are doing his ministry. We will never regret leaving and getting rid of everything in the states to come here and serve him as much as we can!!
Abraham from Mexico. Cooking lunch for the C.O.

Rebecca from Costa Rica
These two pictures on the top are our new brothers from the "ruta". The top brother is from Monterrey, Mexico and the sister at the bottom, with the two little sisters she is from Costa Rica! Great examples again of using your youth for Jehovah to the fullest!! They have been such a joy to have in service and their love for Jehovah is certainly contagious here in our little hall. You can see how grateful the congregation is to have young brothers and sisters like them come and help out in the territory!! We love having them here!!
